Accountants One held the Second Annual Search for the Triangle's Funniest Accountant on October 27 at Goodnight’s Comedy Club. The sold out event was a huge success and raised nearly $5000 for Junior Achievement.

The grand-prize winner of the Triangle’s Search for the Funniest Accountant was David Mills. The runners-up were Mark Judson and Chris McKittrick.
Celebrity judge Bill Jordan, co-host of the “Bill & Lynda in the Morning” show on MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM, helped determine our winner. Other distinguished judges included: Chip Reed, Executive Director of Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina; Bert Erling, President of Accountants One; and Tom Presley, the 2008 Triangle’s Funniest Accountant.
As a result of his big win, David flew to Atlanta to compete in the Search for the South’s Funniest Accountant on November 12 at Center Stage Theatre in Midtown. David did a great job performing for the crowd of over 500 people which raised $15,000 for Junior Achievement of Georgia.
