Chip Reed, President
Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina

The grand-prize winner of the Triangle’s Search for the Funniest Accountant was David Mills.  The runners-up were Mark Judson and Chris McKittrick.

Celebrity judge Bill Jordan, co-host of the “Bill & Lynda in the Morning” show on MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM, helped determine our winner. Other distinguished judges included: Chip Reed, Executive Director of Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina; Bert Erling, President of Accountants One; and Tom Presley, the 2008 Triangle’s Funniest Accountant.

As a result of his big win, David flew to Atlanta to compete in the Search for the South’s Funniest Accountant on November 12 at Center Stage Theatre in Midtown.  David did a great job performing for the crowd of over 500 people which raised $15,000 for Junior Achievement of Georgia.

PrimePay - a national payrolling service based in Raleigh, helped in our efforts to raise money for the night’s festivities through their sponsorship dollars. Thanks PrimePay.
