An Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing a team to execute daily accounting operations including preparation and analysis of financial reports ensuring audit compliance and implementing efficient financial strategies.
Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting duties, overseeing the work of a staff and senior accountant
Oversee monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Month-end/year-end close ensuring GAAP compliance
Monthly financial statements
Support the monthly accounting close process through preparation and review of journal entries and analysis
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2 – 3 years of experience in supervisory or managerial role
CPA preferred
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
