A Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations and reporting activities within a company, maintaining accounting systems, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and achieve strategic objectives.
Incorporating accounting technology and systems to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
Proven track record of financial leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
