A Full Charge Bookkeeper is experienced in all aspects of the accounting environment including AR, AP, payroll, and month-end close. They compile financial statements without guidance and usually have management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s financial records including accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Conduct monthly and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting, providing financial insights and recommendations to management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a full-charge capacity.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
