Full Charge Bookkeeper

A Full Charge Bookkeeper is experienced in all aspects of the accounting environment including AR, AP, payroll, and month-end close. They compile financial statements without guidance and usually have management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s financial records including accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct monthly and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, providing financial insights and recommendations to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a full-charge capacity.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
