A Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery and confirming compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the payroll department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Review and approve payroll calculations, including wages, expense reimbursements, deductions, and taxes.
Resolve payroll-related issues and inquiries from employees, HR, and finance teams.
Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations and ensure compliance with relevant requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPP or other payroll certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
