Payroll Specialist

A Payroll Specialist is responsible for executing all aspects of payroll processing including record maintenance payroll adjustments and adherence to tax and labor laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and administer payroll for employees accurately and on time, including calculating wages, deductions, and overtime.
  • Verify attendance, hours worked, and leave balances to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, including pay discrepancies and tax withholding.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to reconcile payroll-related accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or related role.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll data.
