Tax Manager

Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00

Accountants One is working on an Exclusive Search for a client in the real estate-related industry looking for a Tax Manager. This person will have one person direct into them. This is a fast-paced growing company that is looking for someone who wants exposure to complex tax work as the individual grows professionally in the group.

Tax Manager Responsibilities:

  • Prepare federal and state income tax filings for a real estate investment trust, an operating partnership, and a consolidated corporation.
  • Review or prepare income tax filings for multiple partnerships and miscellaneous corporations.
  • Prepare corporations cumulative book tax differences schedule and prepare tax provision schedules.
  • Review tax depreciation and amortization schedules and basis reconciliation schedules.
  • Calculate projected taxable income for REIT using budgeted numbers.

Tax Manager Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • CPA is highly preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience.
  • Exposure to Yardi is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
