Accounting Manager

Accountants One is working with a Real Estate Company looking for their next Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will work closely with the Assistant Controller and mentor/develop the team. The client offers a hybrid work schedule.

Accounting Manager will handle the following:

• Month-end close, review, and create financial statements for multiple properties, journal entries, research, reconciliation, and analysis
• Handle funding requests
• Assist with the budgeting, forecasting, and cash management for the properties
• Point of contact for clients assisting with resolving any issues
• Handle year-end audits along with quarterly and annual tax paperwork/returns
• Oversee a/p for accuracy and posting to the right places
• Train and develop staff
• Special projects as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• CPA is a big plus
• 5+ years of experience
• 1+ years of supervisory experience
• Must have multi-family property experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• ERP systems experience Yardi/entrada/MRI
