Senior Property Accountant

Accountants One is working with a Real Estate Company in the Metro Atlanta area looking for a Senior Property Accountant. The Senior Property Accountant will work closely with management on getting out the financials for their assigned properties. Senior Property Accountant will handle the following:

• Close properties monthly, including reconciliation of general
• Work with Asset Managers on forecasts and work on annual budgets with Property Managers
• Will be responsible for reviewing accounts payables, accounts receivables, expense accruals, verifying revenue, and operating expense adjustments 
• Will approve A/P invoice for the different properties
• Will be responsible for straight-line rent and operating expense
• Work with joint venture partners and prepare venture reporting monthly
• Special projects

Requirements:

• Must have a bachelor’s in accounting
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of operations. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
