We are working with a fantastic organization in the Metro Atlanta area looking to add to a growing team a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will work closely with key leadership within the organization and it’s a very visible role. This is a fully in-office role with a company that is big on culture and development. We are looking for someone extremely professional, detail oriented and can handle working in a fast- paced environment.
The Senior Accountant will handle:
The Senior Accountant will handle:
- Month end close, general ledger, journal entries, intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports
- Assist with budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting
- Involved in annual audits
- Special projects
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with Large ERP systems and reporting tools
- Advanced Excel skills
- Deadline driven
- Excellent communication skills
