Investment Accounting Manager

Accountants One is working with a client in the Metro Atlanta Area publicly traded looking for a very Technical Accounting Manager.  They recently promoted the person in the role. This person will have the ability to work a hybrid work schedule.  This is a great stable organization that likes to promote internally.

Accounting Manager will handle the following:

• Lead preparation and analysis of complex financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, and other reporting standards
• Provide guidance on accounting/tax implications of business strategies and decisions
• Streamline financial processes and ensure compliance with SOX and regulatory requirements
• Partner with senior leadership on new accounting standards, automation initiatives, and major projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulators, and external advisors
• Mentor and develop team members while fostering collaboration across the enterprise

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
• CPA required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Strong technical expertise in GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting
• Proven ability to lead change, manage multiple projects, and influence stakeholders
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills; general ledger/reporting systems experience a plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
