Position: Cash Applications Specialist Contractor
Pay: $25–$29/hour
Location: Norcross, GA – In-Office – Contract – 2+ months
Reports To: Finance Manager
Overview:
A dynamic company is seeking an experienced Cash Applications Specialist to join its Finance team. This role will be responsible for applying payments for 2+ months. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy with a strong understanding of Cash Applications, and excellent communication skills. This position utilizes Epicor and Concur and supports both internal and external financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily Cash Applications transactions in Epicor – Credit Card, ACH and Wires
- Answering questions as calls come in about billing
- Research over payments or underpayments then accurately apply check, cash, and credit card payments to correct accounts
- Help process sales orders as well when someone goes on leave in December
- Troubleshoot accounts and resolve issues quickly – outstanding freight charges
- Reconcile cash if have that experience
- 1-3+ years experience processing Cash Applications including Credit Cards, Wires and ACH payments – the more complex the better
- Work in office in Norcross
- Degree a plus
