Accountants One hired to help a manufacturing and distribution company on the west side of Atlanta hire a Senior Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established company with a strong reputation, contributing to its continued expansion and success.

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing day-to-day accounting operations while collaborating with the Controller on process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee full-cycle Accounts Payable processes, including purchase order management and expense processing
Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including billing, cash applications, and collections
Process payroll through an outsourced payroll service
Perform cost accounting and oversee inventory accounting to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank accounts
Support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Assist with annual audits, working closely with external auditors
Lead or assist in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned by the Controller

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
Experience in manufacturing cost accounting (preferred)
Proficiency in NetSuite (preferred)
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
