Senior Accountant

Accountants One is working on an exclusive search with a Private Equity Firm looking for a Senior Accountant to assist with funds and a portfolio of companies. The senior accountant will report to the Managing Director. This is a great role for someone who will handle the accounting and be involved in M&A, financial modeling, and financial reporting. The position has a hybrid work schedule.

The Senior Accountant will handle the following:

• Handle all accounting and financial duties for the funds
• Cash management, payroll, expense reporting, and compiling reports for clients
• Help with financial modeling for potential transactions
• Responsible for the audit preparation for portfolio companies and support to external auditors
• Will work with an outside TAX CPA firm for filings
• Prepare investor reports, working with the partners on any discrepancies and any accounting issues
• Special projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree – Accounting, Finance, or business a must
• CPA preferred
• Must have Big 4 or second Tier accounting firm experience on the audit side
• 3-6 years of experience
• GAAP Experience
• Strong technical skills, pays attention to detail, and deadline driven individual
