Senior Accountant

Sharp Senior Accountant is needed by a profitable midsize distribution division in North Marietta. This Senior Accountant will report to an experienced and great mentor Controller. Will work with several experienced staff members. The product is great and has steady demand. Company offers solid benefits.  

Responsibilities include:

• Calculate and maintain schedules for complex sales commission and bonus plans
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and analysis for board distribution
• Prepare General ledger account reconciliations.
• Prepare Monthly Headcount, P&L Rolling Forecast and P&L Exception reports
• Collect sales data from various customers and format for database upload and analysis
• Prepare Financial statements and supporting schedules for the annual audit   
• Cross train and support the HR manager on payroll, payroll taxes and monitoring PTO
• Assist with Annual Operation Plan
• Special projects as assigned by the Controller and Executive VP or home office.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of financial reporting, accounting, and/or audit experience
• Major ERP experience (Epicor a plus but not required) and advanced Excel skills
• Distribution and inventory experience preferred
• CPA a plus but not required
