About
Cindy joined the Accountants One team in January 2012 on a project and just never left.
Since 1986, Cindy Cannon has recruited qualified talent for many of our area's premier organizations, including privately held and publicly traded companies, and large corporations and small businesses in every type of industry. She was employed for many years with the largest publicly-traded Staffing Recruitment firm in the world where she received recognition as a top three, "Recruiter of the Decade".
Cindy was a partner with her husband, Roy, of Growth Management Group. They are proud to say that their business over 20+ years was comprised primarily of referrals. In addition to being a Senior Recruiter, Cindy is a career and speaking coach, radio blog host, and inspirational speaker. She is a published author, sharing her incredible story of living through and conquering 19 surgeries, two near-death experiences, and a rare chronic disease.
Cindy is also a past District Governor of Toastmasters International, where she brought the district to #4 in the world and #1 in North America. She also is a past Region 8 Marketing Advisor where she was over7 states, Bahamas and Caribbean for Toastmasters International. Cindy opened and maintained for many years the Toastmasters Speakers Bureau, so if you need a speaker, you do know who to go to. She has been a speaker at numerous events and conferences. Cindy has opened over 94 corporate Toastmaster clubs in Georgia. Toastmasters has taught her leadership and communication skills that she has been able to utilize throughout her career.
Cindy believes that everyone has a story and deserves an opportunity. She also believes you can be and do anything that you want to in life, no matter what the circumstances are, you just need to know how.
