About the Opportunity
A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Plant Controller to provide financial leadership and operational support across multiple manufacturing facilities.

This hybrid role will serve as a key business partner to plant leadership, overseeing financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance analysis. The ideal candidate combines strong manufacturing accounting expertise with the ability to identify opportunities to improve profitability, cost controls, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Partner with plant leadership to evaluate financial performance, identify risks, and drive operational improvements.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, including inventory valuation, labor, materials, overhead, and production variances.
• Support standard costing, inventory controls, cycle counts, and analysis of excess or slow-moving inventory.
• Analyze plant performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability, productivity, and working capital.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and reporting requirements.
• Support audits and drive improvements in financial reporting, forecasting, and accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including manufacturing experience.
• Strong background in cost accounting, inventory accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience partnering with plant operations, supply chain, and senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of month-end close, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or other relevant advanced credential.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing finance processes.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $130,000–$160,000
• Annual Bonus: 15% target

Work Arrangement
