Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable Associate – Kennesaw, GA $50,000 - $60,000 - In-Office

The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for all payable’s aspects of the company. The ideal candidate will have experience being responsible for the entire AP process for a company.

Job Duties:

• Receive, process approvals, and enter all payables invoices into Intacct software in a timely fashion. Accounts Payable Associate will work closely with Controller to reduce expenses and provide effective cost control. Research any discrepancies when needed
• 2000 Charges per week – some invoices have 700 line items and 10 additional per charge on one invoice
• Prepare weekly payables. Process check run every Friday after approval from Controller
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements
• Reconcile and post credit card statements, Review accounts weekly (Mastercard) to ensure sufficient credit availability. Coordinate with Controller when payments must be made
• Process all expense reports. Obtain proper department approval on all incoming payables
• Track and reconcile fuel inventories at Airport and others as necessary
• Communicate and correspond with vendors. Resolve any discrepancies and or problems
• Payables vendor setup. Process all W-9’s and mail by January 30th of each year
• Input within 2 days
• Pay within terms or better
• Payables report monthly
• Credit limits reports
• Vendor satisfaction
• Monthly and annual audits for accuracy

Requirements:

• 3 years+ of comprehensive full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook
• Sage Intacct experience a plus
• Must have the ability to use new to streamline the processing of vendor billings through the internet
• Strong problem-solving abilities
