A growing $40M+ privately held professional services firm is adding a (hybrid) Billing Specialist to their team who will serve as a vital bridge between the finance and the delivery teams by specializing in project invoicing (fixed fee and T&E) and distributing them to customers timely and accurately.

The following skills and experience will be prioritized when considering candidate qualifications:

Fixed Fee and T&E billing experience in a professional services business (like consulting, engineering, law firm, etc.).
Someone that is analytical and detail oriented with strong intermediate Excel skills.
Strong organization and project management skills.
Good communication, interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
The company’s office is currently located in Mid-town but will be moving to the Perimeter area beginning the 2nd quarter of 2026.
After starting out mostly in the office until fully oriented, integrated and acclimated into the business and culture, this hybrid role will be able to work 2/3 days remotely.

Desired Experience, Skills and Personal Qualities:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; however, extensive billing experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
2+ years of billing experience (professional services business – fixed fee and T&E)
Advanced Excel knowledge and proficiency with Outlook, Word, and SharePoint
Aptitude for dealing with and mastering new computer applications
Attention to detail and strong work ethic
Strong project management skills
Organized and autonomous
Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communications skills
